October 2017 Facebook Poll Results
November 1, 2017
Published by Greg Drusch
Every week we post polls to our Facebook page where our followers can vote on their favorite photo of the room, feature, detail, etc. that they like best. In order to vote on these polls, followers must “like” the photo they favor out of the three choices given. Each “like” is equal to one vote. Throughout the month of October, our followers voted on their favorite: entry way, great room, kitchen, tile shower, home exterior, master bedroom, laundry room, bathroom vanity and custom home exterior.
With that being said…
The votes are in, we counted up the results and now we’re sharing our October 2017 poll results.
Read on to learn more about the winners!
Entry Way: Magnolia
This entry way has a lot of great things going on – which is probably why it won with a whopping 96{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes! First, this nice light gray creates a nice airy and welcoming feeling. Then you have the windows around the front door which creates a lot of natural lighting which really brightens up the place. To the left is the home office complete with a sliding barn door entrance and to the right, you have some nice decorations and furniture that really compliment the space. The lighting in this entry way is very unique and gives the entry way a nice farmhouse feel. Then you’re greeted by the stairway with a dark wood, cord rail railing, which looks sleek and classy! To finish the look, you have a luxury vinyl plank in a medium/dark color that really brings this room together and completes the look of this fabulous entry way.
Great Room: Edgewood
Large windows, built-ins, a fireplace in which the stone goes all the way up to the ceiling? You couldn’t really ask for more. This great room has elegance written all over it. The large amount of windows gives this room the perfect amount of natural lighting, and the fireplace keeps it nice, warm and comfortable. The built-in cabinets are perfect for storing odds and ends that need a place to go. The colors used in this great room are great neutral beige colors which keeps this room looking warm and welcoming. This room is attached to the kitchen, so it’s perfect for having visitors and entertaining. This beautiful great room won with 77{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes.
Kitchen: Westridge
This Westridge kitchen has won Facebook polls in the past and keeps on winning them! Coming out on top with 50{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes, this kitchen’s features are definitely what gives it it’s character. The white custom shaker style cabinets look great against the outstanding backsplash with the varying dark tan colored subway tile. The dark granite counter top look amazing on top of the white drawers and cabinets and on top of the dark wood kitchen island! This home is also open to the dining area, perfect for entertaining your favorite guests!
Tile Shower: magnolia
This unique tile shower won by 50{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes. There are a few very different tile types, but they go together very well. The main tile used in this shower is a traditional white glossy subway tile, the pattern in the niche, where you put your soap and shampoo, gives this shower a bold statement. The hexagon tile on the floor of the tile give this shower extra dimension. To complete the look of this shower, a clear glass door in which you can see through to all the awesome tile features.
Home Exterior: Carabelle
The exterior of this home exudes a warm welcome with its dark siding and stone. The home is contrasted with the white window casings, pillars and garage doors. The Carabelle is a split-bedroom ranch plan that offers a generous amount of natural light with large windows and patio doors along the backside of the home. The master suite is located down a hallway, away from the other two bedrooms, creating a peaceful private retreat. This plan cleverly uses archways, varying ceiling heights, and floor lines to create a feeling of openness and give defined spaces. A study off the foyer, a 1st floor laundry room, and basement access in the garage add to the Carabelle’s appeal. Winning with 52{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes, the Carabelle is a Cypress favorite.
Master Bedroom: Magnolia
This STUNNING bedroom won with a whopping 81{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes. Can you see why? The cathedral ceilings add extra height and look great with the featured shiplap – this home is called the Magnolia for a reason! This modern farmhouse bedroom is bright and airy with the light gray and the natural lighting throughout. Not to mention, the chandelier hanging above is the perfect finishing touch.
Laundry Room: Magnolia
Does this tile look familiar? It should! It’s the same tile that’s used in the tile shower listed above and makes for a great flooring tile in this cool laundry room. It looks great in contrast next to the gray/olive shaker cabinets and matches the black handles. This laundry room won with 46{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes and rightfully so. The raised flooring where the washer and drier sit make it easier to access the doors and the clothes that go in and out of the machines. To top it all off, the wood used as the counter tops is actually reclaimed wood and fits well in this modern farmhouse laundry room. Did you notice the unique sink?
Bathroom Vanity: CUstom
This stunning bathroom vanity won with 48{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes. The contrasting colors in this bathroom vanity definitely stands out with the black granite counter tops in comparison to the white shaker cabinets underneath. Speaking of underneath, do you see how there is under cabinet lighting? SO COOL! Everyone knows how important the bathroom lighting is in a home, and this bathroom vanity nailed it! The transom window above the mirrors gives this vanity a +1 in natural lighting! This bathroom vanity is attached to the walk-in closet, which makes getting ready in the morning a breeze.
Custom Exterior:
This custom exterior is absolutely gorgeous! It’s no wonder this home won with 54{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes. One thing that really stands out about this home is the front door. It’s red! A color that is very attractive to the eye, which will draw attention to this door and the design elements that go along with it. Then you have the warm neutral colors in the stone and in the siding of the home. There is both vertical siding and horizontal siding on this home which gives it a fun patterned look. You also have a mixture of roofing materials with mostly shingles, but there is a little bit of steel roofing above the front door. All in all, this home has a very modern look to it and is just as beautiful inside too! Want to see? Check out the entire album for this home by clicking here!
