December 16, 2016

Twice a week on Facebook, we create poll questions with 3 different options to let people tell us what type of home features they like. Then each month we’re giving you a summary of the winners so you can see our most popular home features! Below are the poll results from November:
Entry Way Winner – Claremont
November’s first Facebook poll of the month was won by one of our Claremont homes by 57{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14}.
A front entry way is a very important space in the home because it is the first space guests will see when they enter. The floor in this entry way really gives the entrance a unique look. There are also doors on both sides of the entryway and stairs to the lower level on one side. Straight ahead is a view of the great room, which makes this entry inviting to the home. A light fixture in this entry way is also very important because you want the space to light up while having a unique chandelier that draws attention.
Fireplace Winner- Brookridge
This realstone panel fireplace in one of our Brookridge homes won this poll by 60{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14}.
The majority of the time, a fireplace is the focal point of a great room. This fireplace front is made out of realstone panels which give it a unique texture. Attached to the top of the fireplace is a painted wood mantel. A mantel is great to display decorations and gives the fireplace a finishing touch. Additionally, behind this fireplace is a an accent wall which is different colors, making the fireplace stand out even more.
Tile Shower Winner – Thornberry
This walk-in tile shower from our Thornberry home, won this poll gaining 41{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes in a tight race.
A luxury tile shower is an amenity home owners desire for their master bathrooms to give the room an updated and stand out piece. Tile can come in many different shapes, sizes, colors and patterns. This tile shower is a walk-in tile shower so it is skinny from outside and goes deeper behind the wall where you can’t be seen. This shower also features a bench and the tile walls and floor are two different patterns, making this shower really pop. The built-in cabinet and shower hooks outside the shower are nice touches that allow for everything to be organized and in close proximity.
Locker System Winner- Belleview
This locker system in the mudroom won this poll by a whopping 88{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes.
A mudroom gives you a space to contain the chaos of getting home from school and keeping the kids stuff organized and stored. This locker system has a large bench which is great to sit down and take your shoes off. 4 coat hooks, which keep coats hung-up and organized and storage cabinets are above the bench to help organize any clutter. On the side of this locker system is a small counter, a catch-all. This is great to put keys on, or things you need to remember to grab on your way out the door. Additionally, above the catch-all is a perfect place to hang a calendar so the entire family can remain up-to-date on extra-curricular activities.
Dining Area Light Winner – Thornberry
This dining area light fixture got the victory by 45{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes.
The light fixture over your kitchen table is an important one. This fixture should fit the kitchen style and it should also provide lighting during a meal at the dinner table. Lights are an accessory needed in a house so it is important to choose one that you like. This light is very large and a stand out piece in the dining area.
Master Bath Vanity- Carabelle
This beautiful and luxurious master bathroom vanity in one of our Carabelle homes beat out the other two contestants, by gaining 71{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes.
The best thing about this vanity is that in this master bath there’s two of them! Having two vanities in the master is perfect so each person gets their own space to get ready. These matching vanities have plenty of both counter space and storage space. The colors in this bathroom are very cohesive as well. All of items and colors in this master give it an elegant feeling.
Kitchen Winner – Ridgewood
This Ridgewood kitchen won this poll in a close race, gaining 57{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes.
This beautiful kitchen has many amenities homeowners desire. The large granite island in the center of the kitchen is a statement piece. There is also a white tile backsplash which gives the walls texture and distinguishes them. The cabinets have cutouts on the top for light to shine through, giving this kitchen more lighting. The stainless steel appliances are another feature in this kitchen. The different shades of white give this Ridgewood kitchen cohesion.
