Background

It was a heartwarming day seeing the display support and generosity at the Cypress Homes' charity event. On September 19, 2023, Cypress Homes hosted a Chip-In for Charity golf outing at Far Vu Golf Course in Black Wolf, Wisconsin, to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish® foundation in hopes of making some wishes come true.

Fourteen teams gathered to participate in the charity event, where they showcased the power of unity by successfully raising $10,000 to help fulfill the dreams of individuals facing critical illnesses. Cypress Homes is pleased to announce that with the money raised, we were able to grant two kids in the Fox Valley area their wishes.

Granting Wishes

A seven-year-old from Neenah, who loves playing games and spending time with his family, made a heartfelt wish for a hangout room. With his wish, he also received numerous gifts to help him make the most of his hangout room. Now, he and his family have a special space to spend time together and create new memories from the safety and comfort of their home.

Cypress Homes also granted a fifteen-year-old from Kaukauna his wish to visit Walt Disney World® Resort! Their trip began with a limousine ride to the airport. Upon arrival at Disney, he and his family enjoyed a week-long stay in a private villa at Give Kids the World Village, a village created for wish families. This village offers a variety of amenities, such as heated swimming pools, a miniature golf course, and an ice cream parlor that opens its doors for breakfast. This teen was especially excited to meet his favorite characters, particularly Mickey Mouse! 

Make-A-Wish® Mission

Make-A-Wish® Foundation's mission is to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. These wishes bring hope, joy, and strength to kids and their families during challenging times. The Cypress Homes Chip-In for Charity golf outing was a testament to the power of community and generosity in making these wishes come true.
