Each Monday and Friday we post a poll on Facebook with 3-4 photos from homes where you are able to choose the photo of the room, detail, etc. that you most prefer through liking/commenting on the photo you like best. With that being said… You voted, we counted up the results and now we’re sharing our June 2017 poll results!
Throughout the month of June, you voted on your favorite: Laundry room, Amberwood exterior, living space, kitchen/dining area, backsplash, kitchen light fixtures, kitchen cabinets and front entry. Lots of kitchen polls this month, read on to learn more about the winners!
The Belleview Exterior:
The Belleview is an efficient ranch home that features a split 3 bedroom and 2 bath design. The kitchen in this home has a large island and is open to both the dining room and great room. The master bedroom in this home features a large walk-in closet and private master bathroom. The exterior of this home extends a warm welcome with the deep brown color and dark stone. Something unique about this home is that the siding of this home is vertical rather than horizontal, which has been starting to show up in more and more homes within the last year. The exterior of this specific home won by a whopping 86{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes compared to the other choices.
Mudroom Lockers: Birchwood
Winning by 81{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes, this Birchwood home’s mudroom lockers are a perfect option for any home. Conveniently placed near the garage entrance of the home, it’s a great space to drop off your jackets, backpacks, handbags, etc. There are four hooks in this locker system, with cabinets over head to store things like hats, scarves and more! Below the lockers, underneath the bench is a space where shoes can be stored. Even though this area is mostly white, the contrasting black bench top is a nice break from the all white look. Mudroom lockers are awesome for keeping unwanted dirt from the rest of the house and although it’s an ideal built-in system for families with children or young adults that are still in school, anyone would benefit from having a mudroom locker area in their home.
Kitchen Island: Amberwood
This beautiful kitchen island comes from our Amberwood floor plan and won by 56{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes. It features a beautiful light colored granite counter top and a white base that gives it a really nice, clean look to it. The kitchen sink is built into this island, which makes cooking a little bit easier since it’s directly across the stove, and the seating is awesome too! You can prep meals, cook them and enjoy them conveniently in the same area. Who wouldn’t love having this island in their kitchen?
Kitchen Floor: Bellmont
The multi colors in this floor are absolutely stunning, it’s no wonder this kitchen floor won by 59{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes! The floor is made from luxury vinyl plank, which is a type of flooring that’s made of vinyl, so is quite a bit more affordable, a lot sturdier, and it looks great!
Master Bedroom: Avalon
The thing that makes this master bedroom outstanding is the two-toned walls, and, of course, the staging! All of the colors and patterns compliment this bedroom so well, it’s obvious why this master bedroom won by a whopping 94{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes! As you can see in the photo, it has the master bathroom to the right of the room, which brings us to our next poll…
Master Bath Vanity: Claremont
White cabinets and drawers with black handles and complimented by a light granite counter top, this master bathroom vanity won by 70{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes. The mirrors have a dark boarder – like the faucets, and the lighting is in the perfect position for applying makeup, brushing your teeth, etc. Something that stands out in this master bathroom is that the closet it connected to it! This bathroom has your clothing conveniently there for quick, private access to your wardrobe after hopping out of the shower.
Great Room: Carabelle
A great big window for natural lighting, a wonderful stone fireplace for when it gets cold during Midwestern winters, and built-ins along the wall makes for a wonderful great room. Winning by 50{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes is our Carabelle model. It has an open concept floor plan, so this great room is connected to the kitchen, making it easy to entertain while still being able to enjoy your company.
Amberwood Fireplace:
This Amberwood fireplace described in one word: awesome. The stone has mostly gray tones with a little bit of a burnt umber splash of color, which gives it a little bit of an accent and breaks up the grays. The detailed hearth with a little bit of a different color from the rest makes it really stand out, as well as the white shiplap detailing and white mantel that matches the baseboards perfectly. The white color gives this fireplace a clean, classy finish. Don’t you think?
Stove Area: Ridgewood
Our last poll of the month for June, the Stove Area was an interesting category, since it wasn’t a whole kitchen you were voting on, but just a small section of each kitchen in this poll. This winning stove area comes from our Ridgwood plan. With the space for a full oven and stove, a beautiful backsplash, granite counter top and a chrome, stainless steel duct that matches the stainless steel attributes of the stove really bring this area all together. Winning by 50{447216cae66a4d332ab0ac71eb11e27716218036a4f422ac40162b059a195e14} of the votes, who wouldn’t enjoy making eggs in this darling stove area?
