Hello Fall!

Tomorrow is officially the first day of Fall (September 22nd) and we want to make sure that your homes are entirely autumn-ified from the smell of fall to the look of fall, we’re here to help you out! The weather is cooling down and we’re going to show you ways to keep you and your home feeling warm and cozy.
#1 Smells:
The easiest thing you can do to give your home that warm feel is through smells! Light a candle that smells like fresh apples, autumn harvest a fall spice or any other scent that you enjoy. You can also try a wax warmer of your choice – there are a variety of them sold throughout different stores! Something that also works really well and keeps your house smelling great from the moment you walk in the door are Wallflowers! You can purchase them at Bath and Body Works. All you do is twist the cap off of your favorite scent (we suggest Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Apple Pumpkin or Autumn), screw it into your wallflower plug and plug it into your outlet and voila! Your home instantly smells like an autumn dream!
#2 Throw Blankets:
What’s more cozy than a nice throw blanket? Whether you like big, fuzzy blankets, a knitted blanket, or a fleece throw, cuddling up in a blanket (or all the blankets) and watching your favorite scary movies – or not so scary movies, it’s the perfect way to spend a chilly autumn afternoon.
#3 Pumpkins
Pumpkin everything! From pumpkin spice lattes to pumpkin decor to pumpkin carving, there’s bound to be something that we can find in your home this fall that is somehow pumpkin related! How about this cute little glitter pumpkin?! You can get it for $12.95 at Pier 1 Imports.
Is it really fall if you don’t have any pumpkin decor in your home? We think not!
#4 Fireplace
Is it too early to start up the fire? Absolutely not! In the Midwest we can go from having a mid-70’s to a low-30’s weather, and what better way to keep warm then starting up the fireplace? (Insert throw blanket here). There’s nothing quite like enjoying a cup of hot cider, curling up into a blanket and sitting next to the fire!
#5 Mudroom Lockers
The weather is cooling off and you’re bound to use your mudroom lockers now more than ever..Okay, besides winter! You’re going to need a place to store your scarves, hats and fall coats. Having a locker system is great for families who are constantly on the go from school, sports and other similar activities. Just pick up your outerwear and you’re ready to go out the door. Easy!
#6 Apples
Who doesn’t love apple cider?! That crisp, apple drink can be enjoyed hot or cold. Caramel apples? Heck yeah! We all know who has THE BEST caramel apples, The Little Farmer! They also have amazing apple pies too! It’s a great place to spend a fall afternoon. They have a lot to enjoy there from apple picking to corn mazes to amazing caramel apple treats (pictured below)! You will not leave unsatisfied! It’s only 10 miles north of Fond Du Lac. Check it out here!
