Halloween is quickly approaching, which means haunted houses are opening around the area. With well over 20 haunted houses across the state of Wisconsin there is bound to be one near you! Haunted houses are all a part of the Halloween experience. There is nothing better than getting together with a group of friends and partaking in some Halloween festivities.

Burial Chamber (Neenah) – Located on an ancient burial ground, this site is truly spooky. Burial Chamber offers 4 different scares, 2 indoor houses, an outdoor maze, and a simulated burial. New this year is the Phobia Haunted Woods. This haunted trail makes you feel like you are part of a horror movie set in the woods. People come from all angles of the woods, making you wonder what’s next.

The Morgue (De Pere) – The Morgue is a 1920’s school building. In 1929 the building was temporally turned into a morgue. Legend says you can still feel the presence of those who once passed through. This haunted attraction includes a haunted woods, a 3-story haunted house, a slide to hell, and bonfire to stand around while waiting for your group’s turn to be called.

Terror on the Fox (Green Bay) – With a long standing history of being one of Wisconsin’s premiere haunted houses, Terror on the Fox has once again outdone themselves. It offers 3 different haunted houses, including the new “Power Failure.” This is Wisconsin’s first ever “choose your path” haunted house. Over 6 different doors to choose from with 6 different terrifying experiences!

Green Bay Fear -Located in a 1800’s mansion, this mansion is said to be haunted by its ruthless original owner, Jaden West. A brand new haunted adventure that is expected to be like no other haunted house you’ve ever experienced.

Mars Haunted House – Has been rated Milwaukee’s #1 Haunted House. The building was built in the late 1800’s and is said to be haunted by its previous residents, the Miltons. Claiming that the house is actually haunted gives house an advantage others.  The scenery, the smell and of course the characters make this all the more thrilling!

Wisconsin Feargrounds (Waukesha) – Three totally separate Haunted Houses make up the Wisconsin Feargrounds! Every year Wisconsin Feargrounds is known for making your nightmares come true, and this year is no different.

The Hill Has Eyes (Franklin) – An abandoned quarry where truckloads of waste was dumped mysteriously by moonlight. Authorities neglect to warn a nearby mobile home community and what followed was gruesome! Mutations rose; mutants hungry for human flesh.

Terror On Rural Street (Hartford) Terror on Rural Street is a 17-room house with many high tech effects as well as over 30 costumed actors. A mix animatronics and live actors will bring you to a new level of fear. A heated waiting area and free parking is included.
