Amazing Tree Houses

When you were young you probably asked your dear old Dad to help build you a tree house. You had these crazy ideas of all the cool stuff it was going to have inside and out. Upon completion of your tree house, it probably wasn’t what you had envisioned but were thrilled with what you had. Today the possibilities are endless and that crazy tree house you envisioned building as a child can become a reality. Luxury tree houses have become a thing of reality and are probably even more elaborate than in your dreams!
The current largest luxury tree house is the Alnwick Garden house with a building cost of roughly $7 million. This ‘fort in the trees’ is something that would make any kid scream with joy. Belonging to Lord Northumberland and located on the grounds of Alnwick Gardens, this 6,000 square foot tree house stands approximately 56 feet above the ground and even includes a restaurant for visitors to dine in. Now that is one impressive tree house!
Other tree houses are a little more practical and can be a home away from home for some people. This chic and modern tree house is a really luxurious family home in the sky. It features two separate spaces, one for the children and one for the adults with a canopy walkway connecting the two. The tree homes come complete with a custom kitchen, bathroom, and a large living area for entertaining. The children’s tree house has a games room with media center, and a cool zip wire for quick escape. How cool would it be to live there?
Now since it is called a “tree” house it would only be right for your tree house to be environmentally friendly. This tree house is made of a variety of types of reclaimed wood! The Cedar Creek Tree house is an environmentally friendly home which is privately owned and used as a mountain retreat, located near Mount Rainier National Park. They offer a unique tree house bed and breakfast style lodging in a cottage 50 feet from the ground. Nestled in a 200-year old Western Red Cedar tree, this tree house offers spectacular views from its observation deck. This is truly a luxury, environmentally friendly, and an experience all in one.
Tree houses have truly become tree homes. Builders are pushing their creativity to the max and reaching back into the past for inspiration. Luxury tree houses are not only cool to look at and visit but today are being built green and functional.
