The Boeing 727 House

The airplane home is located in Mississippi and cost about $2 million. There is a Jacuzzi in the cockpit and the stairway opens to a garage. This home cost about $24,000 to renovate, yet the owner kept one of the tiny airplane bathrooms.

One-Log House

This log home was designed to attract tourists to the Redwood forests that are located in California.

The home was hollowed out from 1 log and is 7 feet high by 32 feet long. Originally, the home was going to be transported across country to attract people to the forests in California; however the 42 ton long proved to heavy to fit on any kind of vehicle. Check out some of our log designs!

Mushroom House

This home is located in Ohio, and was designed by an architecture professor. He would bring his students to the home to see if they were inspired to add on any more features to the home. The house has been ever changing since 1992. This home is special because of the multicolored rock walls in the interior of the home, and the odd shape in general.

The Pickle Barrel House

This home is legitimately in the shape of pickle barrels, which is very popular commodity in Michigan, where this house was built.

The Shoe House

This home is located in Pennsylvania, and was actually a guest home of a shoe store owner. After his death the home was temporarily an ice cream parlor but it is now a museum. The home originally had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a kitchen.

The Teapot Dome Home

This home was built in 1922 in Washington. The architect who built this structure wanted to remind the country of the Teapot Dome Scandal involving the corruption of Warren G. Harding’s administration.

Falling Water Home

This home was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is located in Pennsylvania and was actually built over a waterfall!
