“We had dreamed of being able to afford to build our forever home for quite a long time. After touring Cypress Homes’ house in the 2016 Spring Parade of Home and meeting with Greg Drusch, we found that it was within our reach!

It was a waiting game after our first meeting with Greg until the lots were made available in Sunrise Estates during the fall of 2016 but then things came together very quickly. Greg listed and sold our house at the time and then built a new home in less than 7 months. Greg had no issue with answering my MANY questions and making us feel comfortable through the whole process.

We were the first house built in Sunrise Estates and everyday I feel blessed to have a beautiful new house in Oshkosh close to all the conveniences of the city but remote and quiet enough to feel like I am living in the country.

While I found the coordination, communication, and timeliness of build process to not to my liking, I found the build teams to be welcome of my multiple visits daily and they were often willing to explain what they were doing and why.

Since this is a review, I feel that I should state a few pluses and minus (no one or company is perfect of course):

Minuses:
1. Build communication
2. Build timeline had many very large unjustified gaps that put us about a month later than our expected completion time

Pluses:
1. Cypress helped us through the whole process of selling our house, helping us with our temporary housing, and the build of the new house.
2. We were able to stay in communication with one person, in our case Greg, through the whole process to help us understand the process and help with any concerns.
3. Focus on Energy certification on the new house

All in all, I am glad we trusted Cypress Homes to build our home!”
